Anatomy of Responsibility series is an ongoing investigation into the fragile yet inextricable bonds between humanity, the Earth, and the cosmos. In this body of work, I explore how the human form can serve as both symbol and site—of memory, disconnection, and potential restoration. The anatomical, the terrestrial, and the celestial are layered to reflect the complex, often fractured relationship we hold with the natural world—one shaped by extraction, denial, and longing.
This series is not a portrait of individuals, but of a species navigating the consequences of forgetting its place within a greater whole. The imagery draws attention to the duality of our nature: capable of immense destruction, yet inherently composed of the very elements we harm. Our bones echo minerals, our breath mimics the tides, and our histories are written in stardust.
Through this work, I ask: What does it mean to inhabit a body on a dying planet? Can art become a gesture of reparation? Anatomy of Responsibility invites viewers into a space of reflection, where the boundaries between self and environment dissolve, and where accountability is not only ethical—but existential.
