Artist Biography
Dehiscence is a Canadian multimedia artist whose work centres on the human form as a site of vulnerability, resilience, and transformation. Through a multidisciplinary practice, she challenges the cultural narratives and visual biases tied to physical appearance, inviting viewers to question the systems that influence identity, equality, and human rights. Deeply engaged with environmental themes, Dehiscence’s work reflects on the interconnectedness of social justice and ecological responsibility.
