This series of collages fuses the solemn grandeur of Renaissance painting with the luminous chaos of sci-fi futurism and pop culture iconography. Within these layered works, the past and present collide to expose the distortions of power, where governments gaslight on climate change, public health, and foreign policy, bending truth until reality fractures. Golden halos and sacred gestures are interrupted by neon circuitry, comic fragments, and planetary debris—visual metaphors for a world lost in ego, lust, and the madness of violence, hate, misogyny, and exceptionalism.
Each piece is both spectacle and critique: a mirror to capitalism’s voracious appetite, the systemic racism woven into laws and institutions, and the endless rationalizations that excuse cruelty and inequality. The series refuses easy comfort, confronting the viewer with images of bodies, myths, and icons repurposed into a chaotic labyrinth of ego—our dopamine-driven consumption, our hunger for more, our prayers that do not stop wars, pandemics, or gunfire.
Yet beneath the ruin, a thread of compassion runs—self-compassion, compassion for others, and compassion for all living beings. These collages wrestle with the question of whether humanity can ever put aside its fractured desires and look toward the larger picture: survival, justice, and the fragile possibility of a better world.

Digital collage with hand-drawn elements.
